If your tree was set up correctly, you should not have needed to modify
COYOTOS_ROOT at all. If your coyotos-xenv parts are not installed
in /coyotos, you will need to set the environment variaable
COYOTOS_XENV.

No modifications to the makefiles should be needed. Other people have
been able to build on gentoo and debian releases successfully.
