The Coyotos repository now has packages for x86_64 systems. The
*targets* are still all 32 bit, but you should be able to build from an
x86_64 development system now.
I have confirmed that the tree builds, but I have not attempted to
execute the results. My ability to support x86_64 build environments is
somewhat limited, because we don't really run x86_64 around here. Please
do file bugs concerning any issues you may discover, but response time
for x86_64 issues may not be instantaneous.
Also, for those of you building the tools for yourselves, the hand-built
tools on a 64-bit platform will put libraries in lib rather than lib64
-- I haven't had an opportunity to update that, and since it isn't a
major issue, it's not going to be a high priority.
