The critical issue is going to be to learn how APs enter and leave sleep
mode. If the leave sleep mode in such a way that they effectively have
to be rebooted, we will need to preserve a valid low memory map for
them.
Dealing with power management and AP spinup/spindown is *way* beyond
anything we are ready to look at right now. Simply getting SMP working
at all is the goal at the moment.
And to be honest, we're only looking at *that* because you and Jeroen
are excited about it. We need to be paying attention to coldfire and
interrupt processing right now, but we want to be responsive to
encourage your enthusiasm.
