You can now download the coyqemu script from 

http://www.coyotos.org/~shap/coyqemu.sh

My suggestion: put in your personal bin/ directory and rename it
coyqemu.

Usage is one of:

coyqemu mkimage-output-file
or
coyqemu -g mkimage-output-file

The -g option will cause GDB to be started along with qemu.
