Maybe the runtime system of the languages used should support live
update of the code, à la Lisp, to avoid this issue. I know that it is
harder to achieve in a staticly typed language, though.

Or do you intend to only replace entire processes? (which is more likely
to be doable in the context of Coyotos, I'd say)

Look at the bright side : at least that's an interesting problem!
