Go away on holiday for a week and it's all change!

I pull things from rsync so haven't tried this.

It configured, built and installed OK for me under Debian. I then tried
building the other parts and it fell over quickly, so I added in lots of
-I$(COYOTOS_XENV)/host/include and similar for the linker into various
makefiles and things appear to be working now. I would post a patch,
but it feels as though I should be putting something into build/make but
I'm not sure which file/variable is best.
