Note: I asked on IRC about the issue, and only domU suffer from it. The
OS used as dom0 can use ACPI as it would without Xen. I suppose that
means you can at least suspend the system after checkpointing the domUs,
I don't know if that makes CPU scaling possible (I suppose that it will
be possible, but the guest OSes will have to use the CPU at the
frequency that is set by the dom0).
I may give Xen a try in the near future on my laptop, I'll let you know
how it works.
