[coyotos-dev] Xen port

Pierre:

It would be nice to have a Xen port (I would also like it). We aren't
doing it for the following reasons:

  1. So far as I know, Xen still does not support ACPI. This means
I cannot run it on my laptop, and most of our development work
     is done on laptops.

  2. At least on Fedora, Xen still doesn't seem to be very stable,
and it doesn't get the level of maintenance attention that the
main release does. This makes me very nervous about relying on
     it.

If you have more up-to-date information, I'ld be very interested. I find
the continuing uselessness of Xen very frustrating.

On the ACPI issue, I don't really care about suspend, but I would like
CPU scaling and fan management to work.
