In some way. I did not pay attention enough, and associated code with
the preceding notation instead of the one following it.

I think the current layout is somewhat uncommon. It looks like some
definition list, with the terms followed by their code, whereas it is
the contrary.

May I suggest one of the following:

  +------------------+
			notation1

  +------------------+
  | (code2)          |
  +------------------+
			notation2

or

notation1
	+------------------+
	| (code1)          |
	+------------------+

notation2
	+------------------+
	| (code2)          |
	+------------------+

I think the easiest to read and the most natural is the second, but that
depends on what you want to derive from what...
