I understand that groups that work on such spezialized stuff usually
internally only use one distribution and clearly reccomend this one, but
I think building on most modern posix systems should be possible.

Yes, that sounds realistic, but it isn't obviosly to me how this could
be related to a mess up of a different path. Anyway, I'm sure you have a
deeper understanding of this.

Actually, to me it seemed quite obviously that this cannot be related,
but it seemed what you asked for.
