As part of the technology move from Hopkins to The EROS Group, we're
splitting the BitC work off into its own project. To support this, we're
also going to make the OSDoc documentation utilities standalone.

OSDoc is a DocBook-like system with a few differences:

  1. It's designed to be written in a text editor, and therefore
stays as close as we can to HTML.
  2. It generates publication-quality paper output, but generates
substantially the same feel for online presentation.
  3. It includes provision for generating documents in a way
that integrates nicely with a surrounding web site. The Coyotos
documentation tree is done this way.
  4. It supports available Linux drawing packages.

In our lab, we've been using it for several years now to do
*everything*, including all of our paper submissions, grant proposals,
and so forth.

The problem is that OSDoc is a crappy name for it, and I'm looking for
suggestions.
