[bitc-dev] How to compile BitCC?

Is there a howto or something about building and installing BitCC?
I downloaded bitc as documented at
http://www.bitc-lang.org./download/index.html
I noticed http://www.coyotos.org/pipermail/bitc-dev/2007-March/000884.html
which seems to suggest that I only need OSDoc to build it, so I
downloaded and installed osdoc-0.1.22.
However make in bitc/src fails, since it doesn't find some header files:
SexprLexer.cxx:41:27: Fehler: unicode/uchar.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis
