[bitc-dev] Fedora5 install experience

With the recent character decode patches, I too now have bitc test cases
compiling and running on a clean install of Fedora5 (F5).

In order to get xenv built on a clean install of F5 I had to add these
libraries:

libicu
libicu-devel
gc
gc-devel

Also added libpthread.a and libc.a to get the BitC unit tests to produce
runnable output.

Aside regarding Coyotos:
Is the plan at some stage to mechanically translate the C-source of Coyotos to
BitC? or is BitC intended for non-kernel usage (device drivers, user-mode
etc)?
